The Browning Jacket is Back - Now Upgraded to the “Nordwind WR” Series
THE JACKET:
The Browning Jacket was originally launched in 2022 as the quintessential “cargo” jacket - featuring 4 zippered front pockets, 2 non-zippered hand pockets, and 1 zippered back pocket.
Its latest upgrade to the Nordwind Series has now added the following features:
DWR Coated Water Resistance 💧
2-Way Stretch has been upgraded to 4-Way Stretch
All zippers have been upgraded to YKK AquaGuard® rubberized zippers for water resistance.
Velcro cuff tab adjustment has been upgraded from fabric to Hypalon/HANK material.
The Browning Jacket also features bungee-lock adjustable waist and hood.
THE PATTERN:
The Desert Night Camouflage (DNC) pattern is a two-color grid camouflage pattern used by the United States military during the Gulf War. It was designed to aid soldiers in concealment from Soviet-based night vision devices (NVDs). The pattern is now considered obsolete due to the increase in capability of foreign night vision devices.
Even with the pattern being obsolete, it has gained interest due to the unusual look.
